To see the stockings in all their glory, enable Advanced Lighting Model (ALM) in the Graphics preferences of your viewer, adjust the shininess of your mesh body and switch on the lights of the room you are in (or use the included "Body Light Bundle for ALM Testing").

▄▄ [ FIT for ALL AVATARS ] ▄▄

The stockings are BOM (Bakes On Mesh) so they can be used with any avatar, classic or mesh.

________ N O T E ________

Depending on the body, the stockings will stretch differently. If you are not happy with the way the back-seam looks on your body, consider using the plain version of the stockings instead.

For the toe-pad, if you are a MAITREYA we strongly suggest using the "Normal Toe Caps " via the BOM Add-On Parts. They are located in your Maitreya v5x folder: https://gyazo.com/585de281174c0b670c665d9eae601462

For other mesh bodies, please check with their creators if they provide such functionality for BOM stockings.

Lastly, BOM does not support materials but it can benefit from the shininess of your mesh body (look for Glossiness in your body's HUD). Shininess needs the Advanced Lighting Model setting enabled in the graphics preferences of your viewer, and at least 2 light sources (try it with the included HEC body lights, which is a separate box). None of the above applies to classic avatars.

▄▄ [ UNLIMITED COLORS ] ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄

Only the White stockings can be tinted, via standard SL editing (the Black ones do not have modify-permissions).

Once worn, right-click on the stockings in your inventory and select Edit. In the window that pops up click the Color/Tint box, change the color and Save (see the 2 links below):

To reset them back to white, edit them again, set their color to White and Save them.

TIP: Since the stockings have copy-permission, you may keep differently tinted copies in your inventory if you choose so.

________ N O T E ________

The included non-modifiable Black variants are NOT just tinted versions of their white counterparts. Besides coming with 2 extra opacity-levels (50%, 65% and 75%, as opposed to just 50% for the whites) their black shade is a result of a different technique compared to SL's tinting. That said, you can achieve similar results to the 50% Black stockings by tinting the White ones.

• Body Light Bundle for ALM Testing (you need to unpack it separately) - 3 body-lights for testing HEC apparel when Advanced Lighting Model is enabled in the Graphics preferences of your viewer.
