HEC - Low Lag General Purpose Giver Script (SCR-00) Version 1.2

All In One Low Lag General Purpose Giver Script with optional Access Control.

Ideal for Info Boards, Welcome Boards or any other "give item(s)" task, especially in busy places.

Very low lag, just 1 script for everything (no listeners, no sensors, no menus).

No spamming (visitors need to click your Giver object in order to interact with it).

No script editing, no configuration notecards. The Access Mode is configured in the Name field of the prims, the Giving Type is configured in their Description field. Full instructions included.

It works alike with single and multi-prim Giver objects. Make yours as simple or as advanced as you want.

GENERAL SETUP:
1. Create your root prim and drop in its contents the script and the items (make sure the items have copy permissions)
2. Create the desired button-prims and link them to the root
3. Define the operation of each prim in its Description field
4. (Optional) Define the access mode of each prim in its Name field

A modifiable, UNTEXTURED, multi-prim Giver object example is included, to get you started (comes with an explanatory notecard).

TIP: For even less lag, consider creating just 1 texture with button placeholders, assign it to the root, then make your button-prims invisible and move them on their corresponding place-holders.
