HORIZONS Rental Interface for CasperLet Version 4.0

This tool requires a HORIZONS or VISTA Holodeck System from Novatech, and CasperTech's "CasperLet Elite Networked Rental System" to work. It allows landlords to give their tenants control over a HORIZONS or VISTA holodeck system.

HORIZONS

Created by Novatech, HORIZONS is an advanced and extremely versatile VR ("holodeck") system the likes of which has not been seen in Second Life. Features include a zero-config installation system, changeable interiors and exteriors, and a host of tools for content creators.

HORIZONS can be used as a home with changing furniture sets and rooms, a holographic roleplay area for SciFi fans, or a demo rezzer for large or small 3D items. Capable of creating scenes as large as an entire region, you can easily change an entire sim, or one small room, at the push of a button.

HORIZONS is ever-expanding, with new content and features created frequently and available in our vendors. With the professional model, you can even create your own scenes and shells for resale through Novatech.

SETUP & USE

Setup and use are a breeze. To get started, follow these simple steps:

1) Rez the included installer near the HORIZONS or VISTA system you want to rent, then touch the installer.
2) Touch HORIZONS, and close the HORIZONS menu that appears.
3) Touch the CasperLet rental box or meter you wish to link. Or rez one, if you haven't already done so.
4) When prompted, look for a red particle line. If it's connecting the right objects, say YES and you're good to go!

That's all there is to it! You can now setup HORIZONS as usual. Whomever rents the connected rental box will automatically gain access to this holodeck.

NOTE: If you delete the rental box without evicting your tenant, it may take up to 5 minutes for HORIZONS to remove the renter's access.

CHANGING RENTAL BOXES

If you need to change which rental box is linked to your holodeck, you can either reset HORIZONS' scripts, delete the old rental box and wait 5 minutes for HORIZONS to notice, or use the included "Remove Rental Interface from HORIZONS" object to delete the interface, and repeat setup with a new meter.
