UNDERSTANDING WELCOME MODES:

NEXT PERSON ONLY MODE (Default):
- Turn Welcome ON → HUD scans every 2 seconds
- Sends welcome to each NEW person who enters range
- Continues welcoming new arrivals throughout your session
- Great for venues, stores, clubs where people come and go

Example: You're hosting an event. As each guest arrives, they
get a personal welcome message. Perfect for ongoing greeting!

MASS WELCOME MODE:
- Turn Welcome ON → HUD IMMEDIATELY greets EVERYONE in range
- One-time mass greeting to all current visitors
- Then continues welcoming new arrivals as normal
- Great for when you first arrive somewhere

Example: You arrive at a crowded party. Turn Welcome ON and
everyone there instantly receives your greeting. Late arrivals
still get welcomed as they come!

TIPS & BEST PRACTICES:

- Start with Welcome/Return OFF, test your messages first
- Use "Next Person Only" mode for normal hosting/greeting
- Use "Mass Welcome" when you first arrive at an event
- Use Private IM mode for personal greetings (default)
- Use Say/Shout mode for general announcements
- Keep detection range at 20m-30m for clubs/venues
- Use 50m-96m range for large outdoor areas
- Reset visitor list when changing locations
- Custom messages broadcast instantly - no sensor delay!
- Text boxes make editing messages quick and easy
- Mass Welcome is great for making an entrance!

HOW IT WORKS:

AUTOMATIC MODE (Welcome/Return ON):
- Scans for avatars every 2 seconds within your set range
- In "Next Person" mode: Welcomes each NEW visitor as they arrive
- In "Mass Welcome" mode: Greets everyone when first turned ON,
then continues welcoming new arrivals
- Sends return message to repeat visitors
- Tracks visitors until you change regions or reset list
- Messages appear from YOUR name, not the object

MANUAL MODE (MSG 1-5 Buttons):
- Broadcasts your custom message immediately
- Also sends personalized versions to nearby avatars
- Works great for announcements, events, or quick shout-outs
- Messages appear from YOUR name in chat

EDITING MESSAGES:

1. Touch SETTINGS button
2. Select "Welcome Msg", "Return Msg", or "Custom Msgs"
3. Click the message you want to edit
4. A text box dialog will appear
5. Type your new message in the dialog box
6. Click Submit
7. Your message is instantly saved!

The text box shows your current message, making it easy to
edit or reference while creating your new message.
