Here we have two cardinal marker buoys how they are used to mark obstacles and dangers on the seas.

The buoys come in two versions, a buoy and a marker pin, each in two variants, with and without strobelight. They are configurable by menu, so that each buoy can be easily set to indicate the safe side to pass, by colour, triangles and light pulse signals at night (the latter only buoys with strobelight of course). They could be very useful to mark the edges of protected waterways on mainland coastal sims and are lightweight enough that you can use quite a number of them without even hurting the budget of a smaller parcel too much. The setup script makes sure that a buoy rezzed on water will move into an appropriate height.

We prepared the buoys off-sim ready by means of a root prim cube, which however in default delivery state still is centered on the buoys themselves.
For actual off-sim usage you will have to have some not too complex inworld edit abilities.
