I have personally found that using my Signature mesh body with a variety of open collar dress shirts (Deadwool, Hoorenbeek) I end up with issues. You are stuck with an issue of either rezzing that body section and your body coming through the shirt, or hiding that body section and you have a hole for people to stare directly into your soul. My simple yet effective solution, a tiny undershirt insert to fill the hole.
Again, this is not a complete shirt, it is only a small t-shirt styled insert with a ring collar to fill that gap that would otherwise exist in your chest (see photo). It can be tinted or textured to your liking; You can copy and make as many versions as you like.
Lastly, you will more than likely have to adjust this insert to best fit your avatar and the clothing being worn. It might not be the best solution but it works.

I am disappointed I loose 5L I expected to get a shirt. but no !!!! Take care this is not a shirt
