Have you ever wanted your customers to be able to re-color or re-texture separate portions of your items? The laces of your shoes, separate from the tongue of your shoes. The belt on a skirt separate from the rest?
The Color/Tint Change and Resizer Script is an complete solution for content creators that wish to include highly customized color changing, texture changing, and resizing in their builds.
It allows you to make different portions of your product independently colorable and texturable, and 3 levels of control to resize to the perfect size. All of this with a simple, easy to use menu for your customers to use.
The [HeZ] Color/Tint Change and Resize HUD is an add on for the [HeZ] Color/Tint Change and Resizer Script. It allows creators to quickly and easily add a hud to their products.
* Allows customers to set tint, texture, shiny, and size where the designer has allowed it.

No need to re-click the item to change a different part of the item. The script automatically brings the menu back up after the user selects an option, and allows them to go back to the previous menu.
*Separate texture sets for each prim group
For Example: If you have a piece of jewelry that has both metal and Gem parts. The script can be configured so that only gem textures can be selected for the gem portion, and only metal textures for the metal portion.
*Resize, Recolor, and Retexture independent of each other.
If you do not need the resize, tint, or texture functions, they can be removed from the menu independently.
*Alternate textures
For Example: If you are a hair creator and have solid textures and fringe textures mixed together in your hair. The script can be configured so that your customers can click a single button (For example "Blonde") and the script will know which texture to put on which prims.

Frustrating
So only reason I purchased this was because it said I could tint faces. Well it wont work it only works on linked items. The blue menu is annoying but it's the only way I've been able to change the texture on my shoes. wish I never wasted my money now. I've bee trying to figure it out for about2 hours and getting no wiser on how this is meant to work.
5 buttons is not enough, it is impossible to paint all parts of the body
there are questions that need to be addressed, otherwise this product is useless. I need to paint, not only shoes, but also the body, head and hands. but buttons of which 5 pieces left that little

Im sure if you are very familiar with creating your own HUD or writing scripts this will make sense to you but there isnt enough of a step by step for me...a total noob in need of help. Tried to contact the creator but no response. so Id say if your new to this skip it...if your skills are advanced or even mid level go definitely go for it.

Obviously a lot of hard work went into creating this system and aside from being complicated to set up, it works great! The instructions included are very helpful, though I have to refer to them every time I want to attach a hud to my items, the instructions are still very clear and thorough.
My one problem with it, though, is that for the texture change part, the textures MUST be full perm. I'm not sure if that is universal for huds everywhere but as a designer, it makes me extremely uncomfortable to put putting my clothing textures as full perms into something that someone else will be receiving. If there is a way around this, I would love an updated version :)

This script and HUD does exactly what it advertises with one glaring fault. There is no locking or disabling the script to shut off the pop-up once your done re-texturing. So if you use this setup in furniture or something that you have to click to operate an animation menu, the texture menu comes up every time also (annoying). I contacted the creator who informed me he had a "no-touch" version of the script so only the HUD works and the touch option is disabled which is perfect for menu operated furniture. but I still have yet to receive this update. Its been over a week and tried following up with the creator to see when I will get the script update with no response. So to sum it all up... If you're using this in an object that you dont need to click to operate like an animation menu, its perfect. Otherwise, it's useless unless you like multiple pop-ups every time you click the object. So for me, it's 2 stars at best without being able to disable the touch menu.
Not my cup of tea.
I ended up using a much cheaper and simpler script. I was finished with my jobs in less time than it took me to figure out this scripts instructions. This is a very time consuming item to say the least.
Would I buy this again?... NO, i woulds not, even if it were FREE.
