This unique Craftsman was originally built in 1911 and completely renovated in 2018 to give it a modern open concept feel while maintaining the charming accents of the past.
The enormous front stone deck would be the ideal spot to sit on a porch swing while sipping a lemonade on a hot summer afternoon. When you enter through the front door the openness of the space is not what you’d expect in a traditional craftsman, but all of the original wood from the floors to the ceiling to the trim and built in bookshelf has been refurbished to keep the coziness intact.
Three large bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs with a loft overlooking the front entry way, another bathroom on the main floor, living room, dining room and kitchen that attaches to the garage through the laundry room, so handy for bringing groceries into the house.
An add on to the house was built in 1987, expanding the house to include a mudroom/laundry room and a two car garage. The two side porches were original to the house, but they were also refurbished in 2018.

So much nostalgia
I wasn't looking for a building like this when I found it on the HISA sim. But when I walked inside, I knew I couldn't pass it up. It reminds me of happy weekends spent with family or the scout troop on the Oregon coast. This may sound weird, but I could even smell it - the smell of fir trees and rain and the ocean. The layout is great, the textures are so detailed, the large porch is perfect for barbecues or other social gatherings...I love everything about this cabin.
