Holiday Light Script – Beginner Edition (2025/26) Welcome to the easiest way to light up your Second Life home, garden, or sim with festive glow. This beginner‑friendly script is part of the Advanced New Generation series — designed for simplicity, speed, and sparkle.
Whether you are decorating for Christmas, New Year, or simply want rainbow shimmer across your build, this script provides instant results with no scripting knowledge required.
What It Does
Controls child prims (bulbs) linked to a root prim (switch).
Touch the root prim to open a festive menu.
Choose from eight lighting modes including shimmer, holiday palettes, random twinkle, and speed pulse.
Automatically colors face 0 of each child prim (can be customized by advanced users).
Sends a help notecard and demo bulb when “Help” is selected.
Menu Options
Lights On – Fast rainbow shimmer
Lights Off – Stop all blinking
Holiday – Red, green, gold, blue
Xmas – Red, green, white, gold
New Year – Gold, blue, magenta, cyan
Multi – Rainbow cycling
Random – Twinkling bulbs
Speed – Ultra‑fast pulse
Help – Sends guide and starter bulb
Close – Dismiss menu
