Standby to enter “Aqua Lab”, the hi-tech undersea research laboratory, complete with crew quarters and a sea filled with animated underwater marine life. The lower level is an undersea research laboratory, bristling with high-tech monitoring equipment. Step on the elevator platform and you’ll be lifted gently up to the crew quarters on the upper level. Here you’ll find comfortable armchairs, sofas, bookcases and beds where the staff can relax and watch the sea life. Fantastic photo opportunities and great RP potential.

The Undersea Environment.
Fish, coral, moving shafts of light... there’s no shortage of animated marine biology around here. You’ll see plenty of strange and unusual, deep-sea life, even a few sharks. Sometimes they swim together, sometimes apart. You can watch them feed and fight. They frequently swim across to the panoramic windows of the labs to watch you inside… before swimming away again.
And be aware… a giant squid sometimes emerges from a chasm in the coral and thrashes around for a while, before sinking back into the abyss.

The Deep Sea Research Lab.
This is the Tech Lab for studying the marine life and the seabed. There’s plenty of tech screens and equipment along with a couple of seats for the technicians. Touch the ceiling to dim the lights. There’s also controls for turning the exterior seabed lights on and off.

The Elevator Platforms.
There are two elevator platforms, one on each level. Touch a a platform and it will transport you to the other level. When it arrives, the platform will flash three times to alert you to disembark and after a few seconds, it will return to it's original position.

The Tech Crew Area.
Up in the Tech Crew Area, you’ll find chairs and sofas to relax, a bed where you can catch some sleep, and a couple of leather armchairs so you can sit and relax with your fellow crew members as you watch as the aquatic life swim around in the ocean depths. There’s also a few tech screens so you can keep an eye on the data.

Animations and poses.
The seats, sofas and bed all have adjustable, built-in poses.

Sounds.
Plenty of sounds in the lab and weird ambient sounds out in the ocean depths.

Lights.
In the Lab, you can dim the ceiling lights by touching the ceiling. You can also touch the panels inside the Lab to control two outside undersea lights. In the upper level, you can touch the standard lights to turn them on or off.

Everything in the scene is removed instantly by selecting “CLEAR” from the Holodeck menu. The build is a blend of mesh, prims and sculpties, giving a total land impact of 104

Installing your Holodeck Scene
This is a Exosphere Holodeck scene and needs to be installed in the Exosphere Holodeck. To install this new scene, rezz the Install box next to your Holodeck controls, then touch the holodeck control panel labelled "Install New Scenes". The scene will install automatically.
