Horizontal Steam Engine - Full Perms Steampunk

Been looking for that certain something to power that lift of yours? Been needing that extra something to give life to your factory? Well look no further! Introducing the horizontal steam engine!

This working powerhouse has many working components, from the spinning wheel, to the fluctuating PSI gauge, to animated driving rod in the center.

With more detail and less lag in previous steam engines that I have seen, it also has a low prim count at 37 prims. Some prims, such as the belt driven wheels, are removable to drop prims if needed as well.

This steam engine comes in mod/copy/trans and mod/copy/ no trans, this is the full perm version

The no trans version is intended for indiviual use, where as the full perm version is meant to be used in products, not to be given away or resold.

Sculpts show best results in emerald at the default settings, where as in the normal viewer, for best effect an increase to the rendervolume would be helpful.

This is a remake of an engine that used to cause some lag issues. The older engine had a script time of .305, while this one has a .035.

Textures are custom, as are teh sculpts, the only sculpt nto created by myself is the belt, which was created by greg merryman, the man who created the original, and to show respect to his machine, I wanted to include a piece he has made since he made the engine.

Ps. For engine sounds, just press the prim that the rod comes out of, turns off the same way
