This hot plate comes with two pots. The first has boiling water, and the second is empty. Each is 1Li, (the listing shows 3Li for the total,) and cannot be linked together.
These items are perfect for unfurnished apartments, those renting rooms in a hotel long term, and squatters. The Art Deco design is from the 1930s.
Click the knob on the hot plate, and the heating coil will go from off/yellow to a soft orange that keeps getting brighter until it turns red. Click it again to turn it off.
The boiling pot of water is always boiling. It has no on/off. And the empty pot is for added decor purposes.
You don't have to use the pot of boiling water with the hot plate, but it's included to give you a starting option. Everyone uses boiling water for something!

Exactly what I was looking for. Love the way the heat turns on slowly as in RL. The boiling water is a fabulous addition. So perfect in so many ways. Thank you for yet another great product!
