Chateau d'Hougoumont is a recreation of a Belgian farm that was originally built by the Knights of Malta between 1358 and 1474 of sandstone and red brick. It became pivotal in the Battle of Waterloo in June 1815. Over the course of the battle, the French forces committed an estimated 14,000 troops and the English and their allies committed an estimated 12,000 troops to the battle around the farm buildings. The farm is now in ruins but it is undergoing some restoration so it can be the site of the 200th commemoration of the Battle of Waterloo in June of 2015.

We have attempted to build an accurate recreation of the way the Chateau and it's surround buildings looked when the battle began. The building interiors are not recreations as there are no existing plans of the interiors. Room size was designed for ease of avatar camera view.

The Stable 1 is a single story building with three rooms on a 9m x 15m base. It has red brick exterior walls and a light stucco interior wall facing the courtyard. The interior is red brick. The door and window frames are light granite. There are three functional doors on one side of the building.

Everything is modify and copy, but no transfer.
