95 prims, 10 x 40 m. Copy/Mod/No Trans
It may seem now that trains cars and trucks have been around for ever, but they are quite recent. Before them, transport throughout Europe happened by canals, and you could travel in house boats using canals from Moscu to the heart of Paris.
La Fabilene is a genuine replica of one of these house boats that can still be seen in the river Seine in the heart of Paris or in the banks of the river Thames in London. Comfortable and spacious, profides a romantic way of living with the possibility of moving elsewhere when so wished.
All the construction work, finishings and textures are of superior quality. The creator himself lives and has been living in the original Fabilene in SL for a couple of years, so the utmost care has been put in its adequacy and beauty.
Of only 95 prims, It has four separate spaces: bedroom, fully equipped kitchen and toilet, living room and a largish terrace. Join the bohemians and live beautifully by the edge of the water!

An Eccentric Gem
Nor really sure what to say in starting this review - but in a few words I like it a lot.
It is not, however, something that a buyer without building skills would be advised to take on. Buying it is a bit like finding a much loved and well used home looking for a new owner to love it and stamp their own character on it. It is quirky; It needed some fine tuning to its prims, not least a stubborn sculpty denying access to the rear terrace door. Easy enough to fix if you have building/editing skills, but really ought to have been sorted before offering it for sale; as also should have been the removal of a couple of items presumably a legacy of the creators own time in occupation. But, these minor niggles aside I can forgive it almost everything for the wonderful dolphin light in the main living area. The Bathroom and kitchen items are basic and, frankly, better replaced with more modern mesh items.
In summary, a houseboat of real potential, needing some work but which will be a home full of character and charm which will sit perfectly at a jetty in my SIM.
