Hover Bike - "Hawk" [10 prims]
This mean looking hover bike uses anti-gravity tech to transport you and a rear passenger across any planet’s surface (or anywhere else in SL). You can learn to fly it in just a few seconds.
Features include:
- Very easy to fly
- Adjustable pilot and passenger seat using interactive menus
- particle jet
- sound effects
- lights on/off via chat control
- DNA-locked for owner's use only
Flying the "Hawk" Hover Bike:
Touch the bike or right-click the pilot seat and select "pilot". Once you're seated, you'll hear the powerful anti-grav engines kick in and you'll begin to hover gently. Now, you can use the forward/back arrow key to adjust the speed, use the left/right arrow keys to steer, and use the PgUp and PgDn keys to climb and drop. Once you're moving, you'll see the thrust jet streaming from the rear as you steer. You can continue to fire the thrusters and move forward as long as you keep your finger on the forward arrow.
Hold the Ctrl key down while using the left/right arrow keys to perform a sideways strafe manoeuvre. You can carry out some cool sideways-sliding moves once you've got the hang of it.
Passenger:
Touch the rear seat to sit in the passenger seat situated behind the rider. You can adjust your position and save the changes so the next time you sit on the back, it will remember them.
Headlight:
There are working lights on the front and back of the hover bike. Once you're sat on the bike, or near to it, you can control them by saying, "HAWK LIGHTS ON" or "OFF". Looks great at night for low-level sim-surface skims.
Landing:
You can use the PageDown key to descend. Once you have landed, simply stand up and the anti-gravity engine will cut out automatically.
Parking Up:
If you stand up while you’re still flying, the hover bike will turn off any forward motion, maintain its height and lock its vertical and geo-stationary position. So, you can park next to a high landing platform or the top of a docking column by simply hopping out of your pilot's seat when you're in position. It's then safe leave the vehicle.
Security:
The Hover Bike is DNA-locked, a security feature that only allows the owner to fly the hover bike. You won't have any worries of someone else flying off with it. when you've parked it If they want to fly one, tell them to get their own!
These craft are all scaled perfectly for use with other Exosphere Modules such as the Vehicle Bays and the Tech Garages.
- Very easy to fly
- Passenger pillion seat at rear

Re-review
I initially gave it two stars; EFX were out of register. The creator has made improvements; while not perfect it's definitely better. Shows commitment to making a better product.
Not bad
It looks good but the add-on flame and smoke have been slapped on as an afterthought (they are not even properly aligned and are set too high). The auto-landing feature isn't, it's just a slow drift downwards.
Overall not bad as it is modifiable and looks ok.
