Not as good as it should be
Yes it plays music, but ...
1. The 5 songs are each quite short (about 10 seconds each) which means they repeat often and are monotonous.
2. Out of the box, the hurdy gurdy attaches to the wrong hand (i.e. the right hand) which means that the hand doing the playing motion is holding the instrument. This results in an animation where the instrument is being waved around in the air while the hand that is supposed to hold the instrument is left motionless. When attached to the correct hand, the instrument needs to be rotated and repositioned. This is hard because wearing the instrument animates the wearer from the moment of attachment and then it becomes difficult to edit the positioning.
3. The hand animation (a strum) is incorrect since a hurdy-gurdy needs to be cranked and not strummed.
4. The animation itself makes the wearer dance around like a crazy person while playing. I'd just like to sway in place while I play music and think that option should exist in a well-made musical instrument. There is also no animation option to stop the crazy dance when one stops the music. You have to detach the instrument to stop dancing.
5. The "Next" and "Prev" buttons on the popup menu that let you select a different song both generate error messages.
