ICSA - Security System 'Heimdallr'
=========================
The 'Heimdallr' Security System is provided (free of charge) to protect your club or properties against
well known disturbers of the peace in the grid.

The system obtains its informations without your own intervention from a central database of persons,
who have been reported due to massive and intentional disturbance (griefing) or harassment (stalking ...)
of one or several persons, groups or regions or conducted other illegal acts.

This database is maintained by the 'International Cyber Security Agency (ICSA)'; an association of people
from different countries, who have taken on the task of ensuring a peaceful grid. Thus it is ensured that
NOT EVERY person can add data due to unfair interests, as it was still possible in older systems. And you
can be relatively sure that only people are in the database due to real and massive failings.

When an entry has been added, also the name of the employee is saved who the entry was made by.
And in addition, all database changes are logged. So that we can see at any time, by whom and when an
entry has been added or changed or deleted in the database.

Of course, all communications are encrypted, so it is not visible, which persons are listed in the database
from the outside.

To add persons to the regular database only staff members with the necessary security level have permission.
To delete persons only officers of the Agency have permission. Linden Lab employees can not be added,
and no one can even add or delete himself.

Starting with version 2.x all users have the opportunity to make additional own database entries.
Avatars that are registered in this user-generated database will be banned only on the property of the owners
of the respective orbs. For this function, there are 3 new items in the main menu of the "orb's".

Additional Informations
---------------------------------
Each recognized disturber get a detailed information window about the reason for the restricted access
and also finds hints of what do, if feels unfairly treated.

On group owned land each disturber will be banned. Each ban is temporary and clears automatically after
30 minutes. When re-entering a renewed ban is done.

On avatar owned land each disturber will be TPing home.

The linking of multiple parcels is possible in the SCAN RANGE mode "ALL PLOTS" or "THIS REGION". In this mode it is impossible for the disturber to come back on an adjacent parcel.

The whole system can be deactivated by special database settings, this will occur every now and then and
is not a malfunction. The reason is usually a database maintenance.

We do not provide information about the content of the database. But all persons are entitled to know whether
they are recorded in the database. For this information please contact confidently to a Sp. Agent of the ICSA.

New versions of this system get you automatically by our update server.
