Stock economy was operated in the Middle Ages mostly only at larger farms and monasteries. The food was carefully stored there to prevent pest infestation and rot. The shelves are therefore particularly suitable for pantries in manors, castles or as a stand on medieval markets. The package includes five different wooden shelves:
