---
This item is the Jump Trailer itself only.
It does not include the truck to pull it with, nor a car to jump it with.
---
To tow this trailer, you will already need to own the
Infinity Freight Cabover Semi Truck or the Conventional Semi Truck (see my other items)
(you can still jump it parked up without owning a semi truck though)

--- Infinity Freight Jump Ramp Trailer ---

The trailer operates functionally similar to the standard trailers, and they couple-decouple in the same way.
You can jump the ramp while parked, or for another challenge, jump a moving truck....

If you are jumping on a bike, the space between the car ramp plates is filled in with wire grille mesh, so your bike won't fall through ;-)

SL cars have many different ways to be built and scripted. To jump better they need to be able to 'pitch' the nose up on hitting the ramp. Some cars will do this better than others, it depends on what that car was designed for. Long distance cruisers are likely to have less pitch ability as they need to slide more easily over bumpy roads and region borders, and drift cars generally prefer to stay on the flat.
However a great many cars and bikes will pitch up just fine. If a car won't go on the ramp in prim mode, then try convex, and vice versa.
It's worth a look at the Gravity and Weight of your jumping car in the SL Edit window. If the car is modifyable, changing these values can be a lot of fun!
Example - one car I tried was default with high gravity and increased weight and it would not go on the ramp. With reduced gravity and weight and it now jumps fine (and drives better lol).

Menu Options :

Prim Physics :
In this mode, the trailer physics are defined by a custom physics shape loaded with the mesh : it is a wedge shaped ramp. Depending on the physics of your car, you may or may not be able to get on the ramp in this mode - the only way to know is to test it.

Convex Physics :
In this mode, the SL physics model defines the shape as a bounding box, with 'softened corners' that can sometimes be easier to drive a car onto as there are no sharp edges to catch on the physics prims of the car you are trying to jump with.

Ramp Up / Ramp Down :
The buttons put the ramp up and down visually only - there is no change to the physics, no matter what position the ramp is in.

There is one rezzed at my warehouse, see link below for 'see in Second Life'. If you need to work with one vehicle specifically, IM me and we can test it.

Feedback is welcomed. SL Physics is a complex thing so if you find a car that really should be able to jump but it won't, I would like to have a look and see if the trailer can be adjusted to make it work for the highest number of SL vehicles.

Happy jumping :)

Credits :
The car jumping in the photo is the Bronco by Amariah Francis. If you are in the group Drivers of SL you might have it already from one of those events. It's big, so tricky to line up the ramp but it jumps well and is nice and bouncy :D
