Intimate little tea house -- perfect for meditation or a nice place to chat

A little tea house that matches the InkWelle Japanese House. The roof and gable textures are from photos of Japanese castles, and the flooring is from a photo of a tatami mat. The sliding shoji screens use a lovely handmade Japanese paper texture. All four shoji walls open up for an unrestricted view -- perfect for a mountain-top! The windows have bamboo blinds instead of tint for privacy. The shoji screens feature an excellent modifiable script that includes locking, access lists, and more. Includes extra copyable tatami mat with "kneel" animation.

Footprint: about 9 x 10 m
Height: about 10m high
Prims: 51

Assembly:
The house comes in one linked object -- no assembly required! :-)

*** TIP: It is best to align buildings in SL at an “even” rotation – either 0, 90, 180, or 270 degrees. This will make it much easier when you furnish the house. ***

Scripts:
The windows are tintable for your privacy. You can click on the controller to open and close the blinds, or you can use chat commands. Say "/8 tint" to cause the windows to be covered by blinds from the outside. Say "/8 clear" to make the windows clear again.

The shoji screens are scripted to lock and have other features as well. Open the door, then say "show help" for a list of commands, including how to lock the door and maintain a list of people who can open the door. This is an excellent free script, but you can replace it with your own door script if you choose.

Textures:
The textures on this tea house are fairly authentic. The flooring is from a photo of a real tatami mat. The tiles on the roof are from a photo of a place called Banaji Hondo. The ornamental work under the gables is from a photo of Osaka castle.

Screens:
The screens open or close when you touch them. Note that these will ONLY work as long as they are linked together the way that they are now (meaning -- there are 3 parts to each screen-set... the 2 screens + the window above it. Those 3 things must be linked together and the window (not the screens) should be the root). If you ever accidentally unlink things, just make sure that no screens are "root prims".
