These strange creatures are known for gathering where water once had been. They are often captured and carried in small hand-held cages by travelers as woeful reminders of the past, or as living, makeshift divining rods. They emit strange bird songs, and some radicals believe they are filled with nutritious, revitalizing water. This is a lie. The liquid sludge within their bones is a highly toxic deliriant, but that does not stop some desperate fanatics from drinking it.

This is an original unrigged animated mesh critter for your avatar to hold or rez.
Note: This purchase includes two holdable versions of the Drought Bird: Hand-held cage or perched on your left index finger. These animations are Priority 5 to work in tandem with AOs. There is also a perched shoulder version included.
The HUD allows you to change preset colors of the bird, the cage, stop/start the bird song audio, as well as pause the animation on a specific facial expression. The cage is PBR with fallback legacy textures, the bird is non-PBR legacy textures.
⚠ PBR materials are affected by lighting and environment settings.
For best results with PBR materials: Open World → Environment → Personal Lighting → adjust Reflection Probe Ambiance to fine-tune reflections and brightness.
Fitting & Adjustment:
Basic editing skills are recommended to ensure the best fit. To adjust the Drought Bird or cage: Right-click the item while wearing it → Edit → Object tab → adjust Position, Size, and/or Rotation.
