The invaders of the mainland wear these surcoats above their long robes of chain. They are often adorned with repeating patterns and various heraldries. They are carefully sewn by the wives and daughters of the fiefs that the lords of the Sheanghaill, the fabric made of a tightly woven flax grown by the southern sea of the Sheanghaill's land.
