This item allows you to see invisprims (invisiprims are not simply invisible prims, they are prims that have a texture that hide semitransparent items and avatars that are behind it). When an invisiprim hides part of the floor, the part of the floor that is hidden will show up in red, making it easier to use invisiprims when, for example, making avatars.

Thank you for this very useful item. It helps me so much when I'm making shoes! Just rez it and stand on it- and you can see the invisiprims in red! Awesome!
