This Elven/medieval-inspired atrium was originally designed to house my Alchemist Garden, but was expanded to include many new features as visitors began asking for it as a retail release. It was designed to be an elegant luxury item, rather than a retail offering, so the original was birthed as a rather primmy little lady. I have adapted it to be more resource friendly so that people can include it in their own spaces, giving you the ability to swap many of the pieces out as temp-rezzable items rather than regular prims.
The atrium is easily adaptable to a variety of uses and spaces, whether you're looking for a little bit of decadence to dress up your personal garden, or an elegant cocoon to host weddings, renaissance faires, live music or other events in your own venue.
The atrium is copiable, and highly configurable, allowing you to create a variety of custom looks by dressing it up with different canopies, foliage and lighting options.
Textures are hand painted, with delicious touches of gleam, age and distressing to give a rustic elegance to each look.
Wondering about the name? "Ithil Rond" is Elven for "Moon Dome", giving a nod to it's origins as an open, celestial-kissed cocoon letting the moonlight spill in over my own garden creations.
The optional sign that greets people as they cross the threshold bares text from Quenya (the ancient tongue) Elven, offering the greeting "Alatúlie" ("Welcome", or "Blessed Be"). An additional inscription lies beneath: "Nái Nauva Elerrína imbi Menel Cemenye", a blessing I crafted, which loosely translates to "Be it that I/we will be crowned with stars between heaven and earth", again giving a nod to the celestial and celebratory mood of the space.
Like virtually all of the Atrium's individual pieces, the sign can be turned off completely, or you can choose to simply turn the text off, leaving a blank sign rezzed, allowing to you place your own text or picture prim beneath it.
Individual components can be rezzed as regular prims, temporary prims or a combination of each as best fits your space. (More details below.)

wtf
ok why does it dissapear after a min after i have rezzed it
Bought this 6 years ago and finally giving feedback.....still hate it.
I'm very disappointed in sellers like this for not posting prim counts for their builds.....I was new to SL when I was taken in by the pretty pictures, and bought this without understanding the negative impact it would have on my property.
I wasn't very savvy about how prims worked or what a heavy dent this monster would make on my land impact and was completely horrified by the debit.
Plus, I paid (back then) $725L....which was a lot to me back then and was WAY too much $ considering how many of my basic builds I'd have had to sacrifice in order to rez a tired old frilly tent, so I just shelved it and forgot about it.
I ran across it today and am STILL ticked about being taken in. This thing eats more prims than most of the homes I own! Just wanted to warn folks who are considering this, or any other SL build that doesn't have the prim count listed in the description, to be wary.
It never said it was that heavy on prims
I bought because it looks pretty, it's 99 linden and the base says it's 3 prims... whish it is...
then the HORRIBLE surprise.. it's like more than 300 prims when u set it.. OMG unless you have a HUGE sims with thousands of prims.. then u can use.
SO I lost my money
