You get the complete avatar which includes shape that is option to wear and the mesh avatar. Please know that when wearing the mesh avatar, it is like wear a mesh outfit. It does not change or alter your skin, eyes, etc. Wearing the shape will alter your original shape, but you do not need to wear it. The picture shows me wearing the mesh avatar without the shape. When removing the mesh avatar, you may need to relog to get your arms to go back to normal.
The alpha that comes with this avatar hides your complete original avatar.
