I went ahead and got these in spite of the previous review, and I am glad I did because I like these a lot. You can see the colors for yourself if you get the demo. The pictures have such a dark background that it may be confusing, but the Ecru is a weathered medium brown and the Earth color is a dark coffee brown. Both are pretty much exactly as pictured. Included is one with steel hardware and one with brass hardware. It's a good minimalist sandal for when you want something very understated, but the asymmetrical design gives it a subtle twist for a contemporary look.
