The Group Joiner provides several functions. When initially clicked, it will provide a menu to the user with three options:
1. Join the group
2. Get notecard(s)
3. Go to a website/blog
All of these options are controlled by the settings notecard in the object. The script and settings card can be put into any object you specify.
You can either have the group joined be the one set for the object (Edit the object and select the Set group button on the General tab) or by specifying the group UUID in the settings notecard. If you do not know the group UUID there are two ways to find it. First, if you have the Emerald client, bring up the group information dialog and the group UUID will be listed there. Second, set the Group Joiner to the group you want to use, click it and ask to join the group. The group UUID will be listed in your chat window.
You can use the settings notecard to specify the text message to display above the joiner, using \n to break the message into multiple lines. The color= option can be used to specify the color to display the text.
Finally, for the last menu option, if desired, you can specify a url link using the url= option in the settings notecard. urlButton= will give the name to display in the menu button. This needs to stay short ("Website", "Blog", or something along those lines). Finally, urlName provides a more detailed description that will be displayed in the menu dialog.
