You receive 2 clocks - medium and large sizes. The large clock is 6 LI and is suitable for very large rooms, such as ballrooms or courts. The medium size (most commonly used) is 5 LI.
The clock keeps SL time, chimes the quarter hour, and the Westminster chime every hour.
It fills your room with a soothing ticking sound, realistically gentle.
The door can be opened so you can 'wind your clock".
The backside is rough and unfinshed - it's designed to be placed against a wall.
The clock contains several "low-impact" scripts: the minute and hour hands, the chimes, the door open-close, and the pendulum swings.
I use a variety of methods to reduce prims, and there are trade-offs. For example, I rarely include tiny details in 3-D, but instead render them with good textures. I've seen a lot of mesh that seems wasted on details that no one sees, and it makes your computer work harder. But that's just my opinion - I'm always learning and open to good ideas.
I think that a careful combination of several techniques is necessary for best results, and these techniques change, and people's needs change.
