[JRF] Equipment - Pattern Enhancer Kit

RP Star Trek inspired, transporter beam pattern enhancer kits.

Including 2 Pattern enhancement kits allowing easy in character placement of 3 Pattern enhancer pylons and quick activation, as well as a manually set up pattern enhancement pylon to allow for custom setups as large or small as you wish, don't be left caught in an ion storm without one of these to ensure a safe passage home to your starship.

usage instructions:

Pattern Enhancer Kit (worn):
Begin by attaching the pattern enhancer kit, and reposition as needed. Once comfortable, move to where you wish to place a pattern enhancer. Once ready, click the Pattern Enhancer kit in your hand. A menu with three options will open, allowing you to close the menu, pick up all currently rezzed pattern enhancers from that kit, or to rez a pattern enhancer.
Choosing to pick up all rezzed pattern enhancers, will remove any currently rezzed from the sim, and return them to the holder (rezzed enhancers are not actually picked up, but deleted, and the holder appears to have them replaced visually).
Choosing to rez a pattern enhancer, will visually remove one from the holder, and rez it in front of you. When it rezzes, it will be physics enabled in order to fall to ground level. If required, edit, or push it into exact position. Once all three pattern enhancers are rezzed, you will be unable to rez any more from that container. (note, that you can use multiple copies of the container in order to rez multiple sets of 3 at once).
Once three pattern enhancers are rezzed out, you can touch any of them to activate them. Upon activation, the will energize and project a beam between the three pylons, as well as generating an energy effect in the center of the pylons. (If you do not want this effect to generate, you can delete the 'pattern enhancer effect' object from the inventory of the pattern enhancer kit, to prevent it from rezzing).
Clicking on an active pylon, will turn all of them back off. You can click and hold on a pylon for around 5 seconds, in order to pick up just the single pylon, rather than all three from the Pattern enhancer kit's menu.
Please note: The pattern enhancer kit is an important part of how the three pylons function. It must be rezzed out in order to activate the pylons. After activation, you can safely detach the pattern enhancer kit, however, if you turn the pylons off, you will need to re-attach the pattern enhancer kit in order to turn them back on. For permanent or long term pattern enhancer setups, use either the Rezzed pattern enhancer kit, or the manual configuration pattern enhancers.

Pattern Enhancer Kit (rezzed):
This kit functions identically to the Worn pattern enhancer kit, except that it is rezzed on the ground. It will still place pylons in front of the user, upon choosing to rez a pylon.

Pattern Enhancer (manual):
These function slightly differently to the Pattern Enhancer Kits. First of all, you are not constrained to 3 pylons for activation. Secondly, they must be manually activated in order to function.
Begin by rezzing out as many manual Pattern enhancers as you need. You can add more later if you desire.
Move the Pylons into desired position. If you need to move the pylons after activation, you must turn them off and on again in order to update the beam effects of the pylons adjusted.
Once pylons are set up, touch one to begin the manual activation process. The pylon will light up red, and any pylons in linking range will light up green. If you click the red pylon, it will cancel activation, and all green and red pylons will return to neutral coloration. If you click a green pylon, the red pylon will activate, and connect it's beam to the specified green pylon. Both will resume neutral coloration.
Repeat the above step to form a complete loop (or whatever other pattens you wish to create!) until you are satisfied.
Clicking an activated pylon again, will shut it down, removing its link effects to it's connected pylon.
This process does not automatically produce the same energy cloud effect of the Pattern Enhancer 3 pylon kits. However, you can rez the effect manually, position it where you want the energy field effect, and touch it to turn it off or on as desired.
