This tool provides a more immersive means of providing text hints and logs in roleplay environments than just speaking the text into local chat, or IMing the user.

Using notecards in the text hint giver's inventory, those touching the hint giver will have a Hud text display object (with experience use options) attach to their Hud and display contained notecard contents. This hud has UI controls for zooming in/out, changing page (by 1 or 10) being displayed, and closing the text display (removing the hud without creating any new inventory).

This display Hud displays text by reading the notecard, and then writing that to the hud on roughly a 2000 character long text grid, said grid even accounting for word wrapping so as not to cut off words part way if they are too long for the line to fit.

The system is designed to be highly modifiable and versatile, including tools to redefine notecard page settings inside the notecards on the fly (so one page might be Garamond font in red text, and another might be a Demonic script in blue text on the fly). Additionally the ability to change text color, background image and such. 5 example text hint givers are included; A scroll, a book, a note, a PDA and a template for creating your own, each with their own effects and models.

The system can be extremely easy to use, or modified in great depth depending on your desires. As easy as rezzing the preferred hint giver and putting your notecards for each page of text into it, or modifying the settings and using the notecard text tag system to create an in depth experience for readers.

Also included are tools for creating your own content, or using it in more advanced projects. A link message API for being able to send the text hint via alternative control systems, as well as a download link to the font file .psd so you can create your own fonts.

Please note; while the permissions listed are Copy/Mod they are a little more complex than simply that. The Hud Text Displays must be Transferable in order for others to attach to other avatars. For this reason, most of the text display panels are No-Mod/Copy/Transfer in order to follow user licenses of used third party full perm items. For this reason, the 'Template' Text hint object is included, it's Hud Text Viewer in it's inventory being full perm so that you can create your own text viewers if you desire. (Scripts still No-Mod/Copy/Transfer)
