Please Note: a Copy/Mod version of this product is also available.
A pair of arched stone windows, sized perfectly for use with Jammin's Pillar & Arches Construction Set. Baked materials provide a high level of detail while keeping land impact low.
Version 2 Update - Now includes curved window meshes for compatibility with matching curved walls and arches in the 'Pillar & Arches' set.
Designed with 4 texture 'faces' - 1 for each side of the stone surrounds and 1 for each side of the glass - this allows customization of glow and brightness settings so the inside faces can be brighter than the outside to represent light coming in from the outside.
LI has been reduced in V2 - The flat windows meshes are 0.5 LI, while the curved versions are 1 (actually about 0.9).
Version 2 includes an additional stone material set of larger bricks - both stone styles match the corresponding textures in the 'Pillar & Arches' and 'Terrace & Steps' sets. 2 color options - brown and grey - are included for both. The 'clear' glass texture doubles as a spec map for both types.
A pair of prims have been set up to act as projector lights. These use the glass texture to cast lovely colored light through a space. Projector lights (dependent on your display settings) can cast proper shadows, unlike regular lights.
All textures have been provided in high (1024x512) and low (512x256) res. It is recommended that you use the high res diffuse textures if the windows are rezzed at default scale, but you may wish to use the low res to save on texture memory (a good compromise between quality and performance might be to use the high res diffuse, but low res normal and spec maps).
Tip for working with texture faces: The glass faces are somewhat hidden inside the mesh, which may make it tricky to select the face you want. If you wish to change textures for both sides of the glass, select the whole mesh, choose 'select face' as usual, then <shift>+deselect the stone - this will leave both glass faces selected. To adjust only one side of the glass, zoom/cam right in to the outside edge of the window - you should now be able to see the face you want to select.
The full perms version of this product contains a few additional maps for working with or creating your own textures - UV maps for each window mesh, a separate 'alpha' image of the window glass, and AO/Shadow maps.

very nice :)
the textures are great and i love the reflections
Woohoo! Someone who understands how awesome projectors can be!
These windows are really super pretty, and the included textures are nice and also easy to modify if that's your thing. But what I loved best is that they come with a projector. It's something I could make myself but I love that the creator is thinking about the possibilities with things like that. When I walk past these windows, the light actually shines across my face, and hey, that's how it should be! I'm making a dark and spooky home and set my windows to shine OUT onto the pavement, like all the lights are on inside. They're lots of fun and the quality could not be higher.
