Japanese Bow HUD, Bowing, Ojigi, Male/Universal Style Version 1.1

The Japanese Bowing HUD is a discreet, golden-edged HUD that sits anywhere on your screen and contains three formal bows usable at the touch of a button. It is available in male / universal style (arms by sides) and female style (hands in front) as separate purchases.

Both styles have HUDs with different arm positions to try to accommodate your shape: The standard version has the arms straight down, close to the side if your shoulders and hips are about the same width (or wider shoulders). The Wide version moves the arms out a little, to work better with wider hips. The WideDeep version is only in the female style and also moves the arms further forward.

The bows:

Eshaku: A short bow used to greet those you are very familiar with or colleagues with similar status in an informal situation.

Keirei: More formal, lower and slightly longer bow. Used to greet colleagues, employers, and everyone else. Used in most situations.

Saikeirei: Deep, respectful bow which is usually held longer. Used to greet important individuals, to apologize, or ask or thank for a great favour.

The first two bows, when triggered, automatically stop.

Saikeirei stays on; you need to click again to stop it. The exact timing of when it stops is variable (1 to 3 seconds) because this animation features a gentle breathing motion when bowed, and this must still run its course to the end when you stop it.

The animations are Bento, so will control the fingers, and are set at priority 5 which should make them override any AO. They cannot stop some head and face animations though... if that is a problem you need to turn off the head AO (Catwa... I'm looking at you; poking your tongue out and winking while bowing is not proper etiquette!)

The female-style animations try to make the hands meet in front of the abdomen, left over right as is proper. Please understand the limitations of the SL animation system mean it is simply not possible to make them do this for every shape and size. It works well enough for the several shapes my wife uses, with Maitreya Lara. Similarly, for the male-style animations, positioning the hands by the sides of the thighs works for my bodies (Gianni, AES) and shapes. That's about the best we can do, short of making custom animations for everyone.

The animations are also supplied in the package, for your convenience. You can also trigger the animations using gestures, and thus not need to use the HUD (you'll have to make a gesture to both start and stop Saikeirei). I'll leave that to you though so you can make the gestures how you want them. It's easy.

The HUD itself is copy/mod so that you can resize it. The animations and script are copy only.
