As the population of Japan increased, less and less land was available as grazing for the upkeep of horses. With the availability of horses restricted to martial uses, human powered transport became more important and prevalent.
Kago (Kanji: 駕籠, Hiragana: かご) were often used in Japan to transport the non-samurai citizen. This Kago is a wearable vehicle with bearers that walk as your avatar walks.
You can adjust the level of the Kago by clicking on it and selecting the height level from a menu. You must turn off your AO in order for the litter to function properly.
This kago makes a great roleplay item (it can be worn anywhere, and it's a great way for your geisha avatar to go around in style!)
