"Sashimono", or japanese war flags, were small banners historically worn by soldiers in feudal Japan, identifying them in battle. Attached to the back, Sashimono were worn by common soldiers, known as ashigaru, to elite samurai, and were most prominent during the Sengoku period—a period of long civil war in Japan from the middle 15th to early 17th century.
Seven different versions based on traditional japanese clan crest designs and colors are included; perfect for feudal Japan or Pani environments.
