Yuzen-Chiyogami Paper Lanterns, Yuzen - originally referred to a style of highly elaborate designs, which were originally printed onto cloth for kimonos.
In Japan Chiyo means 1000 Generations & Gami means paper The Rise Of Chiyogami Paper-Making
Yuzen-Chiyogami patterns were inspired from Kimono patterns and first made by Japanese Paper-Makers of the Edo period, now widely perfected and manufactured in the modern 21st century.
