Jingle Thighs
For Maitreya Lara only
Now your legs can be as festive as your tree!
Fully rigged and BOM, Squishey Thighs with a seasonal garter and decorations. Just in time for Christmas! Lacy garter with the option for being solid or see-through.
Extensive texture HUD with seasonal colours.
Individual parts are provided as well as ready-linked versions. You can wear the garter, bow and decorations individually although they are designed to fit together. Fully linked versions are also provided for convenience, in single leg versions and both legs all in one. If you want everything, just wear the main set.
Often (with some skirts/dresses) the back drops a little lower than the front and you might want to not have the bows at the back because they clip. You can edit and unlink them (or just edit and make them fully transparent).
The bows have seperate middle bands and the garters have a central and outer faces for texturing differently if you wish. When using the Jingle Thighs HUD, if you click on the trim of the garter it will set just the trim to that texture. Click the main part of the garter and it sets both. You can change the lace with the alpha controls on the HUD: Solid, Blend (nicest I think) and Mask (still good enough - I designed it to be) if you get alpha glitching issues. The garter has a white (really AO-mapped) texture, which can be used if you want white but is also good for tinting to whatever colour you want (rez it for ease). You could blank the texture on the other parts and tint those too, or add your own texture of course.
Parts have mod perms and easy to texture faces (no nasty UV mapping, just set the scale to 1:1 in the edit window and play with textures). They say "no mod" in inventory because of the script, but rez them on the ground and you can mod them. Technically you can mod them while wearing, but selecting rigged mesh when worn is next to impossible. Just rez them. You can't break them.
The BOM mapping for the skin is exact, but materials (bump/shiny) can't easily be duplicated, especially since the advanced materials textures applied by the body are 'secret' and there are so many variables. Windlight will also show this mismatch up more or less; it's a problem all such things have.
If you have access to the materials textures or UUIDs you can manually edit and add them to the thigh parts. Likewise you can edit the basic materials properties with the edit tool; much more direct than trying to do it with a HUD. Mod perms rule, lol. If you want to do that, best to wear the "Squish Thighs Both" which is only the thigh parts, then *in your inventory* right-click the now bold, worn item and select edit. Now do what you need in the edit window to try to match the skin materials for shinyness etc.. When you are happy, you can detach the object, rez it out along with a complete Jingle Thighs and copy the values across. Easy peasy... basic SL editing skills required but it's not hard. Shout out to me if you need help with the edit tools, but I can't help match to your skin materials. That's up to you (and be aware it is not really possible because of the 'secret sauce' of the body's material textures which we don't have and BOM doesn't give us that either.)
Note that the product is not compatible with the tattoo or underwear layers if they cover the Squish Thighs area with texture; those layers are not BOM. Nothing I can do about that. If you wear those layers, you might need to set the alpha mode on the Squish Thighs to Mask (or Solid). Same alpha problem as always in SL. Please also note that the product uses the Lara autoalpha... it usually works but sometimes it doesn't, as we all know, lol. If not, try reattaching the item or as a last resort use the Lara HUD to hide the leg strips under the product.
