Jinx : Centaur - wear to unpack

Before I begin, let's put some perspective on the situation. I love machines; Vehicles, guns, buildings, transforming walkways, gadgets, etc. They are a big passion of mine. So you can imagine the amount of disappointment I had when my ultimate avatar expressing this, was denied. But instead of sulking about it, I decided to cut for what I believed was second best. A form that would do what my avatar was supposed do, without being what I wanted.
The Jinx Centaur, was the first thing I found. The set up was fairly straight forward, and the product was pretty simple to use, thanks to the creators attention to detail with the scripting and design. Once I got it on my avatar, the controls were a little complex but not impossible to grasps. If you've bought any of the TWI creatures or owned a horse avatar before, these controls will be familiar.
The Centaur has quite a few options for customization, again some come straight from the creator herself, and they do look rather incredible. I have only a few for mine, and I have to say it goes very well with my aesthetic. But what do I really think about the Centaur from Jinx?
Honestly, it was a surprise. If I told you that this "accessory" was just something you threw on your current avatar to make it look cool, I'd be lying. If I told you that people bought this and it gained popularity because it was trending, I'd be lying. And if I told you I bought this avatar out of sheer impulse, well you get the point by now. The creator, Julala Demina, deserves the praise she gets for this. Why? Because this Centaur body is not just a fancy thing for you to own, it's a blank canvas. And the best part is, you can do whatever you want with it. Easy to use, detailed sound and textures, with a community that supports the product? Could you ask for another reason to purchase this?

This thing is great. I have made the most beautiful centaur avatar I've ever seen in 12 years of SL. I love this avatar so much I've had to build a full sim fantasy theme for her to prance around in and call home. Would love more detailed animations and maybe those will come but the movement is very realistic as it is and well worth the price. There are lots of skins and the ability to use clothing and accessories for my Maitreya "top half" is a huge bonus. Really a great avatar. And the video on Youtube showing the huds and how it all works is a great help too.

Super easy to use! Adjusting your human half is a breeze and looks fantastic!! I will recommend this to everyone. So many ways to add your own style customization's for your own unique look! Damn good worth the coin.

Combining both humanoid and centaur AO is the great idea to make the variety of character. Animation priorities are strong, it hold your centaur in place most of the time right, a bit of sliding and turning due to the human AO, but not so much noticeable due to the strong priorities of the centaur animations.... but still depends on the type of human AO.
The problem I have with are some points:
1. Lack of more expressive emotes
Compare to the best PreBento centaur of SL, the Breeder's Choice Centaur (BC Centaur), it lack those expressive emotes like bowing, kicking, pawing, bucking, 4 laying animations, and 2 sitting animations. Those are neat to bring yourself into immersion. Looking forward to make those anims from devkit to replace the animf rom BC Centaur HUD so I can make use of the HUD itself with the Jinx centaur!
2. Some few problems with animations
Trotting animation feels slow, it could have redone in future updates, and the canter animation's body kinda rotate to the right by bit which makes it looked strange, and it could be redone. Lack of crouching animations by default, you can customize it via notecard (like put in visor animation or something! XD ) but again, lack of crouching animations by default will surprise normies negatively. Last thing.... the laying animation and the lack of ground sit emote HUD button, people prefer not to ground sit but click the HUD button to animate a sit due to the stuck in sit problems some people get usually (like me). And then! The laying animation have the whole torso prioritized, including the arms, which disallowing me to pose my arms, torso and neck animations! I can't pose reading or crossed arms while laying! This should need a fix in future updates or new customers will be disappointed at this part! D:

i tested the demo with so many anthro bodies even with none human ones like snokra snake, kobold and many others and it with all them. i like this very much i only hope that it gains a ton of support and maybe some furniture but at the time of this review its only about 2 months old so im sure theres a ton more mods and things to come.
