K-9 was first created by Professor Marius in the year 5000 to replace the real dog he had to leave on Earth. Upon returning to Earth he was unable to take K-9 with him and gave in to The Doctor. There have been a number of iterations of K-9 over the years, (Mark I-IV) all similar in appearance and now you can have one of your very own.
Like all my avatars, I looked around the whole of SL and couldn’t find one good enough for what I wanted so I set out to build one of my very own and now I’m making it available for anyone who wants it.
Thank you for Purchasing the K-9 ‘MarkV’ tiny avatar
K-9 User Guide:
You may have to adjust your hover height to make K-9 exactly level with the floor.
There is a simple light affect in the undercarriage for hovering about, “The Mark V” K-9 can fly! ;)
K-9 special features:
K-9 has a number of special features and add-ons to make him more interactive for role-play or just general all around fun.
type ‘/scan’ in your chat window to deploy and detract the nose scanner.
Eye blinking type overwrite
Nose laser can fire while in ‘mouse look’. (does not cause damage but will push around any ‘physical’ prim in the vicinity)
Click on the tail and ears to turn on animations (tail wags, ear scanners rotate back and forth) — (May not work in areas where scripts are not allowed.)
There is an invisible attachment on K-9’s back that can be added or removed that will play sound fx when clicked. (can be viewed by clicking ctrl-alt / cmnd-option “T” the way you view invisiprims.)
“Bumper” - when someone runs into you, gesture activates automatically.
There are a number of gestures (gesture pack included) you can activate with a number of popular K-9 catchphrases in the original voice w/sound fx
Additional- there is a ‘tiny-cam’ hud you can wear. Sometimes it’s glitches so far as the graphic interface is concerned (it confuses the on/off) depending on its status when you log in/out. It works fine but if you can’t tell it’s status you can simply detach and re-attach to correct the problem. (I’m a builder not a script writer.)
