Ancient relics are occasionally pulled from the [KI] vault for research or modification. One such item, known as Artifact 3091, was a Muramasa blade of unusual length and exceptional sharpness. After attempts to duplicate some abnormal features of the blade failed, the original was enhanced with chemical treatments and new alloy fittings. The result is a unique sword with mysterious properties, and further use may unlock its secrets.
Note: this sword is 2.6 meters long (8.5 feet)
- Standard W/A/S/D controls compatible with many RP combat meters, with optional damage-enabled land mode.
- Supports materials and looks best with advanced lighting enabled.
- One or two handed mode.
- Particle trails require updated viewers (can be disabled.)
You will not be disappointed!
This is the third sword I have purchased from this vendor. It's a beautiful sword and the animations are superb. It is a big sword as it states in the description and can not be resized so keep that in mind. Other than that, I am very pleased.
Nice!
Had my doubts because I couldnt see a video, gif or image of it.
It was quite a surprise the quality of it. I recommend it
Got more than I expected
I just needed a good nodachi for RP purposes, received a weapon that works well in a variety of real and surreal/cyber settings. Animations are great, customization is good, controls are straightforward, and doesn't seem to have a huge resource footprint. Definitely can recommend!
Best blind buy I've had in a long time
I really just wanted an absurdly long sword to wear on an absurdly long avatar, and this one...well, I had to make it so ridiculously massive in order for my avatar to actually hold it with both hands that I'm not sure how I would ever realistically be able to draw it, but that sort of over the top absurdity is my jam. Also, attaching the sheath to my left hand plays a unique animation which is cool.
Hmmm
Only problems are it is the definition of fucking massive. If you're looking for a daintier blade or don't have a giant avatar this may be too big. Also won't re-size below a certain point. Not bad but for 900 would've preferred more customization and modability considering the price tag compared to others.
A great investment, an even better weapon.
Ahh the Kojima Industries Muramasa, had this weapon on my old account and never got around to reviewing it. Time to fix that.
To start, lets talk about the appearance. This blade looks quite frankly amazing with the advanced lighting model on, the way the blade gets a perfect metallic sheen is a testament to the quality of the texturing at hand. With the updated version, some parchment, I assume seals, adorns the scabbard, an excellent touch. The effects are also smooth and to the point, especially the blade's aura when drawn, though you need to toggle that. A minor note, the scabbard has a left hand hold and draw animation set but you'll need to manually place the scabbard in the left hand for this/
But you don't buy this sword for looks, you buy it for functionality. On the previous account, the Gallexfire team owned almost all of KI's weapons, and not a single one let us down as a weapon of choice. KI's weapons are characterized by a quick swing speed and no fussing with direction, if the blade hits, it hits. You won't be spazzing around with this thing like with most swords, some of which cost 2-3 times this one's price! most KI weapons have a projectile and some other power attack, the Muramasa having a quick bolt projectile for pressing forward and back at the same time, and an overhead slam for left and right at the same time. These attacks are quick, and fairly flashy. The weapon has a very low script weight compared to some others, too. A final plus, at 8.5 feet long, you'll be hitting your opponent before they get in reach with most other swords!
Now with all that said, I give this blade a solid 5 stars and my full recommendation. Whether you just want to look cool, complete a costume, or want a solid partner in battle, the cursed sword Muramasa is a solid bet!
