13th Waffen Mountain Division of the SS Handschar (1st Croatian) Fez. 60% of the Handschar divisions recruits were Muslim, with the majority of the rest of the divisions composition made up of Yugoslavians and Croatians. Thus being one of the reasons why the division adopted the iconic headwear.
