KK Haunted House Versión 3.2

I read the reviews prior to making the decision to purchase and i was really on the fence about the various issues that were discussed with this build. I looked around for other builds but could find nothing that met this price and prim count so decided to take the risk.

The rez box issue seems to be fixed as its no longer in comes packed in a rez box. Its a rezable object now. There didn't seem to be issues with the stairs anymore. Buyer beware tho, you access the 2nd story from the stairs in the back, there are no stairs in the house. That actually doesn't bother me but ppl should know regardless.

The only issues I had were related to the doors after I stretched the house (not before). The doors have to be manually moved in the builders menu via edit linked and placed in the door frames again after stretching to make the build bigger. That in itself is no big deal. The confusing part was what the stretching did to the shadows. The previous reviews helped me out to know it was the shadows so I pressed control alt t and just edited linked, unlinked and deleted the 2 door shadows. I didn't want to move them around and play with them. There is plenty of other really nice shadowing on the build.

Overall this was a fantastic build. The modifications took less than 3 mins. If your a noob and don't know how to do this, just ask a friend to help, it really isnt the end of the world.

It is worth the linden and more, even with the shadow/door issue.

The building LOOKS nice, but the rest is crap. I've spent hours fiddling the bad sculpts around, just so I can walk normally up/down stairs and past windows and making the sculpts phantom for the house to actually be functional. I like it, but it's way too much work and if you don't have basic building skills, don't buy it.

The rezzer gave me a bit of an issue but since I build some too it wasn't a issue at all to assemble and I doubt it would be for anyone with a bit of knowledge. The textures are excellent and a very realistic look I was pretty impressed with it when I saw it inworld. The scaling is set to be more realistic so I modded it and scaled it to be a little bigger and using it a a goth home. Love the look of it and definitely another great find on here. For the price its a steal! Thank you :D

Ok, first things first, the build itself is amazing, brilliant texture, shading and shadow work, the place has atmosphere and will look good in most settings, especially those of a darker urban/suburban theme. The build is a little small by SL standards (internal size and ceiling heights), at first wasn't so sure about this but it does lend it to feeling a little more realistic and less like you're living in the SL amazon world. The build might not be practical has a "home" home build, but for a RP sim, a store or maintaining a theme it's fantastic. The rezzer system is basic (text driven commands - which it prompts you with, easy) but functional and I don't think there's any need with this for extensive menu systems anyway. At the end of the day 300L isn't a lot of L$ you could easily spend more than that on a single piece of "clothing" in SL. So all in all great value for money and a great product of it's own right. Not at all regretful that I purchased this.

i like the look on this house, But the rezbox dont work at all so i had to take out every piece and place them myself. And also the doors cant be opened from inside without edit the shady prim and stretch it up halfway so you can click it on lower half from inside. For a neewbie this will be a pain to figure out so please check your build and send redeliverys thanks.
Otherwise i love this house. as long it is like this i will only set 2 stars,so fix it and i give 5 stars.

This little house of 15x11x11 (about sizes). It has lots of room inside despite its small size. Let no one think that is a giant mansion. It is ideal for halloween or store. I see the ceiling a little low, but I think is good for its small size, then is normal and maybe is great, because you can see the detailed texture over your head. The effect of light from the windows is very good, but I suggest that there is control over the light. The idea of a rear ladder I do not like too much, but looks good: if you put inside take much space. Take the stairs behind gives a mysterious touch. The way to put it over ground (rezzer) is a bit basic, no menus, but you just have to do it once, so no problem. It rezzer ok. The instructions are clear for this, dont´worry. Have shadows in the doors for mistery look, this is soooo amazing. Personally I think it would be bigger, a little more, but is ideal if you have small field. The textures are excellent. There is a space under the roof, but has no access. Ideal for hiding things. In short: Something small but very well done. Buy it. You can see inworld.
