I made this simple little script for myself for when I wanted to take notes for a particular task. It doesn't necessarily need to be in list form.. You could just use this to leave a note for someone to see.
GREAT USES:
- teachers can use for making needed items list
- designers to remember all those parts that gotta go into the box
- bosses who would like to leave a list of tasks for employees while away or busy
- even a note to someone... it doesn't have to be a list
I have two versions: personal & group. Both are included in this package.
The personal only allows owner to use, but can be seen by everyone as hover text. The group version allows all members of the box's group to use it.
HOW TO USE:
1. Rez an object and name it your list's title
2. Place the "KKC! Taskbox" script in the object.
3. Touch the object, type in your list (enters & everything), press "Submit"
That's it. You should now see hovertext over your object showing your list.
You can take your object back into your inventory for later if you like, but if you touch the box again, and choose "Submit", it will erase your list and just leave the title there. Each submission replaces the previous.
*For the group version, be sure to have the object set to the group in which you would like to share use of the box with. You can do so through the build menu's General tab.
