K&R Studio Marina Basic Construction Kit Version V1

The K&R Floating Marina Construction Kit is a set of 100 percent mesh, low LI modifiable components to enable you to easily build any basic structure for a floating marina. The components comprise of some
multi parts pieces for easy modification of size and scale of the different components. The parts of the Marina construction sets also have many multiple surfaces to allow a user to completely re-texture all parts of the build. Most of the textures have a colour image, a bump map and a roughness map

The delivery Crate contains two deck sections, a simple 10 by 3 metre section and a 10 by 3 spine sections with removable section to allow the fitting in of any jetty fingers that you may require be it a corner a tee section or a 4 way intersection, simply unlink and remove any of the 6 available cutouts that fit your needs. This component has the highest LI with a count of 4.

The crate also contains two floating marina end pilings, the part marked LR is a low res/LOD version that works better for installations like skyboxes where LOD is less critical for long distance.

There are also 4 marina style stand alone lights, two of these are also low prim/LOD this is marked with LR in the object names, these are also for use in skyboxes or semi hidden places, the other two are higher res for when the objects should be visually more available at longer distances. In these two sets there are two methods for lighting the lights, one is activated by region time and they automatically light when the sun goes down, the other is a click the light, to switch the light on and off.

The last piece is nice sturdy diamond plate deck ramp or transition plate.

While in general you can just throw the parts together and come up with a great marina, with some basic building skills you can also edit and re-texture all of the components. With careful resizing of components and re-scaling of the existing or new textures all kinds of marina layouts can be built. When re-imaging the components of the marina construction set try to utilize the current three layer (Diffuse, Normal and Specular) system that Sl has currently deployed. We will update this once SL's PBR system is bought to the grid.

The largest single component is 4 prims however, oversize is dependent on how you use the kit
