A kadomatsu (門松, kadomatsu lit. "gate pine") is a traditional Japanese decoration of the New Year placed in pairs in front of homes supposedly to welcome ancestral spirits or kami of the harvest. They are placed after Christmas until January 7 (or January 15 during the Edo period) and are considered temporary housing for kami. Designs for kadomatsu vary depending on region but are typically made of pine, bamboo, and sometimes ume tree sprigs which represent longevity, prosperity and steadfastness, respectively.

Don't be fooled by the photo: this Kadomatsu is very simple: just a semi-transparant 2D texture placed on a 3D flowerpot. A particle is used to show the 2D texture, so that it will always face the viewer. So it looks reasonably good from any angle.

If the particle doesn't work for you because you use too many particles already (symptom: particle flashing on and off), I also included a non-particle version.

Visit my in-world shop to see it in real.

- Modify: Yes, so you can resize the flower pot, but you can't resize the particle branch arrangement.
- Transfer: No, so you cannot give these to a friend as a present or resell them.
