See item in Second LifeSo excited
I had a '76 TR7 hardtop when I was in my 20's. I was so excited to find this. I'd be thrilled if you could do an update allowing colors as mine was bright red with black stripes. Also if you could make it hardtop. Just asking.
Adorable retro motoring !
Well, it's a lot of fun to hurl a Triumph TR-7 around SL's roads .. 80's chic !
Now I'm not greatly adept at car driving in SL, but this little wonder is easy to use and well behaved as far as region crossings allow. Can really hit some speeds at high gear and the throaty sounds are wonderfully evocative. Handling is good, even for tight streets and there are options for manual or auto .. I stick with manual for the joyous roar !
Land impact is 74, so I have it loaded into a rezzer in my garage and pop it out at will.
Really enjoy the working doors, bonnet and boot and those animations, feels very interactive.
It's also very easy to change the colour to anything you like using the SL edit tools as the paintwork base is white and tintable. I went for a shiny metallic copper, but you can be as bright as you like. I even modded the license plates to some UK style plates circa 1981
If you do want to use it for GTFO, as I did, it works perfectly well with the CHCPENNY Vapi code from the equivalent 'Penny' TR-3 roadster by the same maker.
