I wasn't sure what to expect, but as it turns out, I think this vest ensemble actually looks *nicer* than it does in the picture! It comes with several textures for both the vest and the shirt that give it a different style, such as a couple plaids in red and green, and some nice variations for the vest between earthy wool or leather textures, or elegant red or blue pinstripes. They're all pretty specific colors, so you might not find the precise color and texture combo you're looking for, but they're all tasteful tones, and of course there's a version you can custom texture or tint if you have the know-how.
The model itself is detailed, with the vest standing out from the shirt and textured on the inside and outside so you don't have weird one-dimensional views of it, there's a cute collar, the buttons are their own face to recolor, and the folds and bunching on the sleeves look great. It fits well whether you're flat or busty.
Only issue I ran across is that the medium size is no-mod and no-copy, which I think was just an oversight because all the other sizes are mod and copy. Hopefully Kenixan puts out another version with those permissions fixed.
I don't think there's any other piece of clothing for the snaggle that's quite like this, so if you want something smart, stylish, and a little elegantly conservative in your wardrobe, you need this.
