Kool-Tech Album Maker 1.5c

The Kool-Tech Album/Book Maker is a tool that lets you visually layout a photo album, catalog, instruction manual or book using your own full-permission textures. You can safely create albums containing up to 400 pages. It uses a drag-and drop procedure to load the pages. Once loaded, pages can be manipulated in various ways: they can be moved around, deleted, replaced with new pages, or new pages can be inserted between other pages. You can use block operations to move, delete or insert more than one page at a time. You can even adjust the repeats, offsets and rotation of individual pages to fine-tune how they will look in the finished album.

Albums that you create with this tool are fully copiable and transferable. They be viewed in world, or worn as a HUD for private viewing or in no-rez areas. The albums include a page-turning animation and sound, can be resized, and have a built-in menu driven navigation system.

NEW IN VERSION 1.4: Besides creating 3 different types of albums (square pages, 4x3 pages and 3x4 pages), you can now create more book-style albums, and create books that read from back to front.

UPDATE HISTORY:
v1.5c (8/10/2022)
- Rebranded item as Kool-Tech
v1.5b (7/9/2020)
- Fixed assignment of secondary administrator
v1.5 (4/20/2020)
- Fixed occasional problem loading album; changed default hovertext to Minimum.
v1.4 (2/24/2014)
- Added a second album type called Compact, which looks more like a paperback book. Has smaller initial dimensions and a flat spine. Currently the spine cannot display images.
- The compact type has the ability to open and turn pages in reverse. Useful for mangas.

v1.3 (1/25/2014)
- Added 3x4 book dimensions

v1.2a (12/16/2010)
- Fixed a nasty issue where the album would always revert to square dimensions when rezzed in-world.
- Attempting code changes to allow album to be attached to avatar as well as attached as a HUD. Besides positioning problems, the album does not close properly when attached to a point on the avatar. Even though it still does not work, I am now identifying the attachment point, which will make it easier to process HUD vs. non-HUD attachments in the future.

v1.2 (8/11/2010)
- Linked the texture tool into the Album Maker (using a different texture gathering method that is quicker and less restrictive).
- Added an option to generate either square albums as before, or ones with dimensions 4x3. This new size is more suitable for displaying snapshots, as it does not distort the pictures.

v1.1 (1/30/2010)
- Fixes rotation of the rezzed album, so that it matches the current rotation of the Album Maker.
- Replaces the "menu" bar on the finished album with a more subdued one
