The Kübelwagen aka Type 82 was a WW2 light military vehicle in broad use by the German military. Its internals were based on the planned KdF-Wagen, which was released as the Beetle after the war.
To make the Kubelwagen more off-road worthy than could be accomplished with the standard drivetrain (which was rearwheel drive only, unlike the US Jeep), further development later resulted in the Type 155 that was tested in halftrack configuration. This only netted mediocre results, however, so plans were dropped. This is where the fulltrack Kubel steps in that you see depicted here.
The replica features nice details inside and out, an easy-to-use drive script with 3 gears, tracks that work and emit dust at higher velocities, exhaust smoke, trick windscreen, working blackout lights and taillights, authentic flat-4 engine sound, horn, license plates. Seats three. Fatpack delivered in all three versions (grey, desert, winter) at a very affordable price.
