L$10 Rustic Stone Cottage

A beautiful stone cottage for village or country setting. Rustic wooden ceiling board and supporting beams. You will love this rustic cottage.

This cottage is inspired by the paintings of Thomas Kinkade. Kinkade has painted many beautiful cottages. I tried to capture that feeling of warm lights from the windows. You will have that cozy feeling inside the cottage. In summer, I grow flowers under the windows. During winter, the ground will be cover with snow. But you will feel warm inside.

- It has a scripted chimney that produces smoke if you lighted the log fire in the fireplace.

- Scripted door that can be locked only by owner or group (if it is deeded to group).

- Built-in interior lighting (invisible) which can be commands to turn on/off or set to auto mode (will turn on when sun is set)

- Windows are made of prims, not texture windows.
It has wooden frame. Glasses have warm tint on the outside but transparent on the inside for better viewing. All the windows emits a warm light and which will be turn on/off together with the interior light.

- No transparent wall texture is use. So you won't see walls disappearing when view at certain angle.

- There is wall mounts lantern above the wooden door. It will emit light and has a particle flames. This can be Force on or switch to Auto mode (turn on after sun set) by touch.

Now I package it into Rez-Faux. Just follow the menu to rez the whole structure. You can position all the unlinked parts together just by moving the box. However, the door will not be able to function properly until you 'Save' the structure in place. See instruction below for details.

Setting up
***************************
The cottage comes in a Rez-Faux system. This system will allow you to move the cottage together with all the unlinked items (lantern, door, fire log and window planter) before you set it in place, just by moving the box.

1) Rez the box on ground.
2) A menu will appear. Select 'Rez' to rez the entire structure. Caution: Do not touch the door at this moment.
3) Move the box, and the entire structure will move with it.
4) Once you confirm its final position, select 'Save' to freeze the building where it is.
5) Delete the box.

Note: The door will not function properly until you finish step (4).
If you have rotate the cottage, type '10 set door' to set its new position

Commands for scripted objects
***************************
'/10 lights on' - turn on the interior and window light
'/10 lights off' - turn off the lights
'/10 lights auto' - all lights will turn on automatically after sun set and off after sun rise

'/10 fire on' - light the log fire and smoke above the chimney.
'/10 fire off' - turn off the above

'/10 door lock' - lock door (only owner or group can access)
'/10 door unlock' - unlock door to allow all to access
'/10 set door' - set the door close position after you rotate it

No instruction notecards will be given. So you might want to take note of the above command before purchasing.

All auto mode takes 1 minute to start. So don't be worry if you don't see the ligths or lantern turn off/on immediately after switching to auto.
