Pure and simple. The layer is bom. However the fakeness is the picture does not reflect the texture. The texture is pixilated when you put it on the laq head with hd skin. In addition, there are no extra mesh to pop out the stars. Looking at it now, the lips are either stiock images or from a render engine outside of SL. Here is what it looks like on my LAQ with high performance.
